I am Aaron Michael Hanenburg and am the sole artist and owner of AMH Craft & Forge. My full time job is teaching 8th grade US History and Multi-Lingual Learners in Monroe, WA. The forge operates out of my garage in Everett, WA.

I got into forging and crafting by seeing handmade knives at a Ren Faire when I lived in Southern California. As a perpetual do-it-yourselfer, I looked at them and thought, 'Huh.... I could learn to make those'. A few garage sale scores and a dozen YouTube videos later I had built a forge hot enough to melt a sawblade and I was on my way! My journey began in 2017 and I look forward to continuing for as long as I can swing a hammer!
